A Vermont non-profit food shelf adjunct and aspiring soup kitchen.
Using food to support food.
"Let no stomach, plate or seat stand empty at my table." - M. W.

Boarding Axe Kitchen, Inc. is a nonprofit initiative focused on addressing hunger and food insecurity through food access, education, and training. We prepare and share practical, nourishing meals while documenting the systems and skills needed to do that work sustainably. Our approach centers on using available resources thoughtfully, meeting people where they are, and preserving dignity through good food. While we are building toward a broader food service and training model, our current work is rooted in action, cooking, learning, and serving our community one meal at a time.
These featured posts are hand-selected from Amuse-Bouche, Advocacy, and Audacity to reflect our best cooking, recipes we’re proud of, food we’ve prepared and shared with the community, and important updates from the organization.
Stay informed about our latest projects, initiatives, and events through our blog "Amuse-Bouche, Advocacy and Audacity". We regularly post updates about our work, and continually add new recipes to our stockpile.
